Important Notice

Last updated: July 02, 2026

Grace Beyond Loss was created out of love, for people walking through one of the hardest experiences a heart can hold. Everything here is offered gently and in good faith. Before you read on, we want to be honest and clear about what this site is and what it is not.

This Site Is Not a Substitute for Professional Care

The reflections, stories, and encouragement on Grace Beyond Loss are meant to offer comfort, companionship, and hope. They are not medical advice, mental health treatment, psychological counseling, or any other kind of professional care, and they are not a replacement for the trained people who provide it.

We are not doctors, therapists, or licensed counselors, and nothing on this site should be read as though we were. If you are struggling with your physical health, your mental health, or your ability to get through the day, please reach out to a qualified professional or a trusted person in your life. You deserve real support, and there is no weakness in asking for it.

Please Do Not Delay Getting Help

Never ignore professional guidance, or put off seeking it, because of something you read here. If you are facing a medical or mental health concern, talk with a doctor or a licensed provider. Grief can affect the body as well as the heart, and it is always okay to have both cared for.

If You Are in Crisis

If you are in immediate danger, or you are thinking about harming yourself, please do not wait. Reach out right now.

  • In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, available any hour of the day or night.

  • If there is an emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

  • If you are outside the United States, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country.

You are not alone, and your life matters. This site will still be here when you are ready.

No Guarantees

We share what has helped us and others, but every person's grief is their own. We cannot promise that anything on this site will produce a particular result, feeling, or outcome. Healing is not one size fits all, and what brings comfort to one heart may not fit another.

Links and Resources

At times we may point you toward other websites, books, or resources we believe could help. We offer them in good faith, but we do not control them and cannot guarantee their content, accuracy, or practices. Please use your own judgment when you visit them.

A Word From the Heart

We hold this space with care, but care is not the same as clinical treatment. Think of Grace Beyond Loss as a porch light left on and a chair kept open at the table, not as a doctor's office. Come and rest here. Also let the professionals, the loved ones, and the helpers in your life walk the rest of the road with you too.
